Hoover, 68 years young, passed away on November 8, 2015. Jim graduated from Penn State in 1969 Jim was very loyal to and proud to be a Penn Stater.

Jim was a graduate of Tyrone High School, Tyrone, PA in 1965. Jim is survived by his wife, Rose Ann, son Herbert (Koren), his mother Marie, siblings Natalie (Glen) and Bob (Melinda) and his 4-legged rescued friend, Peanut. Jim was predeceased by his father, James W. Hoover and his aunt Hilda Troxell. Jim worked for DuPont for 46 years, and then in July 2015 started working for the spinoff from DuPont, Che- mours as Global Regulatory Affairs Manager.

During his years with DuPont, he traveled extensively and made friends worldwide. Jim did research, sales, and marketing during his career with DuPont. In 2013 he and his team were awarded one of six DuPont Excellence Awards given annually for Sustainable Growth for innovation and safety. Jim was very competitive in tennis and golf. At the age of 9, as he learning to play golf from his aunt Hilda, while on a Texas vacation, Jim missed a hole-in-one by 2 yards.

Jim was a member of Brandywine Region Antique Automobile Club of America, and enjoyed old cars and fast cars alike. Jim also was an avid airplane and steam railroad enthusiast. Navy during the Korean War. He had worked as a courier for Brooks Car. He was a Past Master of Brandywine Lodge Past High Priest of Chapter 9, Past Illustrious Master of Gunning Bedford 1, Past Commander of Trinity Lodge 3, Past Illustrious Grand Master of the York Rite of Delaware, member of the Scottish Rite Delaware 32 degree, First York Rite College 45, 2 x2 Lodge of Ark Mariners, Blue Hen Council 388 and Delaware Council 18 Knight Mason. He was also a member of the Shriners. He was preceded in death by his sons, Kenneth and Michael eld.
