of Ocean View, Ralph E. of Clarksville and Albert H. of Frankford; a brother, Elmer James Powell of Frankford three sisters, Laura Patterson and Hettie E. Turner, both of Bethany Beach, and Helen Frey of Dagsboro; and eight grandchildren. Services will be Friday afternoon at 1 in Watson, Gray Mel-son Funeral Home, Frankford, where friends may call tomorrow night from 7 to 9.

Ritter of Chesapeake City; three brothers, William R. of Millington, Carl of Victorville, and Geroge of Chester-town; four sisters, Elizabeth Hol-lett and Louise Wallace of Millington, Margaret Schauber of Chestertown, and Helen Plumber of Rehoboth Beach, 34 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Services will be tomorrow afternoon at 1 at the Edward Fellows and Son Funeral Home, Cecilton, where friends may call tonight after 7. Burial will be in Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton.

Mrs. Mendenhall was a substitute teacher in the Kennett Square area for many years, and retired in 1968. She was a member of the New Garden Art Association. She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Mendenhall; a daughter, M.

Powell was first employed as an engineer on toats sailing from New York and Philadelphia. In 1944, he became a partner in the Henlopen Poultry Co. in Lewes, one of the largest poultry processing plants in the country. Before retiring, he also was a partner in the firm of Powell and Turner, poultry growers in Ocean View. Mr.
