INMEMORIAM 13, 1975 47 Deaths R. C. Myers, Du Pont expert in packaging i vV ,1 LL Robert Clarkson Myers, 61, a Du Pont Co. executive, died yesterday at his home at 1000 Westover Rd Wcstover Hills, after a short illness. Mr.

Myers was marketing director, international packaging division of the company's film department. He joined Du Pont in 1937 as a clerk and held various posts in sales in Chicago, Philadelphia and Charlestown, before coming to Wilmington in 1949. He was a member of the Industry Advisory Committee at Rutgers University and last June was elected national president of the Packaging Education Foundation. He is survived by his wife, Jane Davis Myers; a son, Robert K. of Wilmington; his mother, Mrs.

Kellock Myers of Bronxville, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Horace Rosenquest of Germantown, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. Services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 at Christ Church Christiana Hundred, Otha Rogers GEORGETOWN Otha Rogers, 90, of 412 North Race Georgetown, died yesterday at the State Home at Smyrna after a short illness. Mr, Rogers never married. He is survived by a brother, Douglas of Georgetown; and two sisters, Birdia Short and Roma Rogers, both of Georgetown.

Services will be Saturday afternoon at 1 at the Dodd-Carey Funeral Home, Georgetown, where friends may call tomorrow night. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown. Harry W. Blendt Sr. SMYRNA Harry W.

Blendt a former Woodland Beach restaurateur, died yesterday at Kent General Hospital, Dover, after a long illness. Mr. Blendt, 87, lived near Smyrna and ran Blendt's Restaurant in Woodland Beach for 45 years until his retirement in 1973. He was divorced. He is survived by a son, Harry W.

Smyrna; a daughter, Marjorie Howerter, Levitown, a stepson, Herbert Brown, Smyrna; two brothers, Charles, Smyrna, and Carlton, Stanton; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the Fades Funeral Cahpel, 29 S. Main Smyrna, at 2 tomorrow afternoon with interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna. Friends may call at the funeral chapel tonight. Norma S.

Hagy ELKTON, S. Hagy, 22, of 222 E. Main died Sunday in Union Hospital after a short illness. Miss Hagy was a nurse at Union Hospital. She is survived by her parents, William R.

and Mary C. Hagy of Bay View; and five sisters, Peggy Smith of North East, Linda Culver of Elkton, and Kathy, Barbara and Brenda Hagy, all of Bay View. Services will be this afternoon at 1 at the Hicks Home For Funerals, Bow and Stockton Elkton. Burial will be in Elkton Cemetery. Carlton P.

Seabrease Jr. LEWES Carlton Pratt Sea-brease 55, of Lewes died Tuesday in Beebe Hospital, Lewes, after a long illness. He was a retired engineer at the Fish Products Lewes. He is survived by his wife, Bernice four sons, Carlton Ralph A. and Donald all of Lewes, and James E.

of Rehoboth Beach, and six grandchildren, Services will be tomorrow morning at 10 at the Melson-Sinnamon Funeral Home in Lewes. Interment will be at Bridgeville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight Edith L. Dasher Edith Dasher, 93, formerly of 521 N. Union died yesterday at the State Home at Smyrna after a long illness.

Her husband, Henry died in 1944. Her only immediate survivor is a brother, Medford M. Lane of West Chester, Pa. Services will be Saturday morning at 11 at the Grace-lawn Memorial Park Chapel, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. There wiol be no viewing.

John C. Heatley UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. John C. Heatley, 32, was stricken with an apparent heart attack at his home early Tuesday morning and died later in Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland. He lived at 3982 Rivera Boothwyn.

He had worked for Scott Paper Co. in Chester for the past 13 years as a papermak-er. He lived in Claymont, Del. for 8 years, moving to Boothwyn 5 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Joan S.

Ritterson Heatley; two daughters, Jennine L. and Jennifer both at home; his mother, Donna Krant, of Elmira, N.Y.; and a brother, Roger of Chester. Services will be tomorrow morning at 11 at the Robert Moreland Funeral Home, 9th and Main Trainer. There will be no viewing. Burial will be in Edgcwood Memorial Park, Concordville.

obituaries 1 I Warren Mosley DOVER Warren Mosley, of 133 Davis died Monday al St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, after a short illness. His age was not disclosed. He recently retired from Kent General Hospital, where he was a maintenance worker, because of a physical disability. He is survived by a brother, Paris of Dover; and four sisters, Elizabeth Durham and Grace Kemp, both of Dover, Gertrude Bland of Philadelphia and Jeannette Flemming of Wilmington.

Services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 at Union Baptist Church. Dover, with interment in Fork Branch Cemetery, near Dover. Friends may call at the Stevenson Funeral Home. 403 W. Division Dover, tomorrow night.

Edmund T. Pratt ELKTON, T. Pratt 76, of Locust Point, near Elkton, died yesterday in Union Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Pratt retired in 1968 as supervisory marine dispatcher at the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal after 42 years of government service.

He is survived by his wife, Kay a son, Edmund T. former assistant secretary of tne Army, of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Florine P. Scott of North East; and two grandchildren. There will be 15 governments along with postal administrations who will set up booths, and of these, seven are going to issue new stamps for the occasion. Included in the new issues are 25 stamps, one wouvenir card and two souvenir sheets. Governments and postal administrations who will have lounges at the show include: United Nations Postal Administration, Australian Postal Administration, Australian Stamp Bureau, British Virgin Islands, Great Britain Post Office, Canadian P.S., Crown Agents, Indian P.O., Isle of Man P.O., Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, San Marino, South West Africa and Western Samoa. Practically all stamp societies and a very large number of clubs from all parts of the globe are participating. Interpex-75 is sponsored by teh American Stamp Delaers' Association, New York City.

Lectures on many various stamp subjects will be held frequently during the three day run of the exhibition. Each of the Contributors to the Cause issue due March 25 in ofr separate U.S. cities bears acbrief message on the reverse side under the stamp giving information about the stamp subject. The new issues include Youthful Heroine, Gallant Soldier, Financial Hero and Fighter Extraordinary. The 10-cent Lexington commemorative makes its bow April 19 with ceremonies in both Lexington and Concord, Mass.

Lexington's festivities tales place at Carey Mermorial Hall at 10 a.m. with a second ceremony at the First Parish Meeting House in Concord at 5 p.m. There will be two separate first-day cancels, one for each city. Requests must be addressed to "Lexington Concord Stamp," in care of the Postmaster at Lexington, (02173) or Concord (01742). Ten cents per stamp to be canceled must be enclosed, and orders must be postmarked no later than April 19.

Doctor John E. Borges from Fairfield, has been elected to he the American First Day Cover Society for the 1975-76 term. Dr. Borges, a clinical chemist and a charter member of the group, has already served as teh AFDCS president since the middle of 1974, when the late Dr. R.

C. Graebner resigned due to ill health. Two Delawareans were also elect4d to serve with Dr. Borges, they include Curtis Patterson of Hockessin as a regional vice president and J. Frank Wilson of Elsmere was elected treasurer.

i We received a copy of the February-March issue of the Postal News Letter, which was the third inthe series published by the USPS for Delaware postal employes. The staff include Bob Godfre, editor; Ernie Purnell, photographer; and Bob Bennett reporter. Done in a magazine format, it is a informative volume with a lot of personal facts concerning Delaware postal employes. A page of interest to stamp collectors is titled 'Examples of Postmark Killers used 50 years ago. Towns they were used from include Dover, Laurel, Milford, Newark and Smyrna.

Canada will release two new issues on May 15th honoring contributions to Canadian literature by Lucy Maud Montgomery and Louis Hemon. The stamps will feature "Anne of Green Gables" and "Maria Chapdelaine," two young heroines of Canadian literature through whose eyes early life in Canada was recorded for the enjoyment of many readers, both young and old.
