STRAHORN, 71, of Ocean Pines, died Sunday of cardiac arrest in Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin. Mrs. Strahorn, a native of Mil-len, moved to Ocean Pines from Stanton, in 1981.

She was a member of Stevenson United Methodist Church, Berlin, Young at Heart Bowling League and Ocean Pines Players. She is survived by her husband, that overturned on a curve south of Milton. She was taken to Nan-ticoke Memorial Hospital. Miss Perez, who was born in Guatemala, worked at King Cole cannery in Milton. She is survived by her father, Eulalio Perez; her mother, Dom-inga Ortiz, and a sister, Salluri Perez Ortiz, both of Georgetown; and two brothers, Eliasar Perez Ortiz and Obdulio Perez Ortiz, both in Florida.

KASAI ALI PHILLIPS, 17, of 2413 Market Wilmington, died Wednesday of cancer in Christiana Hospital. Mr. Phillips received his gen Road, Fairfax. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Koston, a homemaker, was a member and deacon of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She taught Sunday and Bible school classes at the church, directed the crib room and was the Women's Association 1988 Woman of the Year. She was a volunteer at Wilmington Hospital, and a member and former secretary of Federal Hill Civic Association.

Her husband, John M. Koston, died in 1985. She is survived by a son, John L. of Wilmington; two daughters, Lauren C. Koston, with whom she lived, and Marsha L.

Koston of Wilmington; and two grandsons. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Doherty Funeral Home, 1900 Delaware Ave. A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pennsylvania Avenue and Rodney Street.

Burial will be in Mount Salem Cemetery. LELA LEWES, 83, of Bridgeville, died Friday of respiratory failure in Lofland Life Care Center, Sea-ford. Miss Lewes is survived by her father, Joe Lewes of Bridgeville. A service will be at 1 p.m.

Wednesday at Church of God Jesus Christ, Coverdale Crossroads, Bridgeville, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Middleford. ELLEN C. MAHONEY, 85, of Ashley, Richardson Park, died Sunday at home. Mrs.

Mahoney, a homemaker, was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Her husband, Richard Mahoney, died in 1965. She is survived by a sister, Susanna Daly, with whom she lived. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m.

HOWARD, 60, of rural Rehoboth Beach, died Sunday of cancer at home. Mrs. Howard was a secretary for the family business, George M. Howard Sons an excavating and septic business in Rehoboth. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, George M.

Howard; a son, John M. of Rehoboth; three daughters, Shirley A. Mihm of Milton, Kathleen H. Rogers of Rehoboth and Mary Lou Joseph of Harbeson; and seven grandchildren. Burial will be private. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, Georgetown. CRESCENZO F. IACONO, 56, a Brandywine Hundred-based general contractor, died Saturday of cancer at home on Mock Drive, Northcrest, Brandywine Hundred. Mr.

Iacono founded Chris Ia-cono Inc. after emigrating in 1961 from Ischia Island, near Naples, Italy. In addition to many custom homes, he built Second Baptist Church, Silverside Road, Brandywine Hundred, known for its dramatic, soaring roof. One of his best-known creations was the covered-wagon roof of the Chuck Wagon restaurant in Prices Corner, now obscured by remodeling. He also discovered an interior access to the crypt of St.

Peter's Cathedral, Wilmington, while doing renovation work there. Mr. Iacono stayed active after his cancer was discovered. His last big job was the renovation of the Ethan Allen furniture store on Kirkwood Highway. Last year, he completed the Multiple Sclerosis Society's 150-mile "Bike to the Bay" fund-raising bicycle ride between Smyrna and Dewey Beach.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Rosa Iacono; two sons, Francis and Crescenzo both of Wilmington; two daughters, Rosa Flickinger of Baltimore and Mary Hickey of Frankfort, two brothers, Giuseppe and Michele, both of Wilmington; a granddaughter; and his uncle, Leonard Iacono of Wilmington, who raised him. ELWOOD "BURRSIE" BURRIS, 74, who leaves 126 descendents, died Thursday of heart failure in Kent General Hospital. Mr. Burris, of Magnolia, worked for the city of Dover's street crew and earlier for Lib-bey's Cannery, Dover. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Harris Burris; nine sons, James and Lawrence, both of Dover, Emory of Woodside, Carlton of Marydel, and Samuel, William, Terry, Preston and Douglas, all of Magnolia; five daughters, Lena King of Felton, Catherine Cain of Dover, Evelyn Tolson and Phillis Harris, both of Magnolia, and Lydia Sherrod of Camden; 44 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. l-A service will be at 1 p.m.

Dunkin' Don-uts, U.S. 13, near New Castle, from 1983 until recently. For the past few years until July, she also worked part time as a cashier at the Boxwood Shop ping Center Mrs. Kiachil Rite-Aid, between Newport and Richardson Park. She started as a cashier and became a key cashier.

She had baked for the Mr. Donut in Pennsville, N.J., and when her family moved to Delaware from Pennsville, she became a baker in the late 1970s at Mr. Donut, Ogletown, where she worked about for five years. In 1980, she delivered The News Journal papers. She also worked at Alert Gas Station, now Exxon, Stanton.

She took courses at Delaware Technical Community College toward an associate accounting degree. She was active in Delaware Epilepsy Association. She was a 1977 graduate of Pennsville (N.J.) Memorial High School. Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Harold Douglas Kiachif; her father, Clarence H. Johnson Sr.

Burial will be in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, N.J. The family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice. STEVEN MICHAEL KONIECKI, 29, of Angola Crest II, near Lewes, died Friday at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. The family is awaiting the result of an autopsy. He was not otherwise ill.

The cause may be related to medication he took to control epilepsy, his mother said. Mr. Koniecki, a graduate of Concord High School, Brandywine Hundred, was a nursing assistant in Sussex County through the Visiting Nurse Association of Delaware. He was a member of the Polar Bear Club, a Sussex group that takes winter swims in the ocean off Cape Henlopen. He was raised in Brandywine Hundred and studied auto repair in Exton, Pa.

Survivors include his parents, Walter and Ruth Koniecki of Brandywine Hundred, and a sister, Janice Kitson of near London. Main Berlin. PERRY LEE TUCKER, 41, of 315 New London Road, Newark, formerly of Second Street, Wilmington, died Thursday of heart failure in St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Tucker, an Army veteran, enjoyed playing the guitar with various church gospel groups in Wilmington.

He is survived by a son, David Brown of Smyrna; two daughters, Pamela L. Tucker of Gretna, and Octavia Rosser of Newark; three brothers, Preston Paul L. and Pelton all of Smyrna; and a sister, Paula Tucker of Newark. A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Road, Summit.

There will be no calling hours. MARVIN L. UBIL, 82, died Saturday at home in Rehoboth Beach, where he moved in the early 1980s from Silview, near Newport. Mr. Ubil was a millwright at the DuPont Edge Moor plant.

Fox Point, for 30 years. He retired in 1976. He was a member of Armstrong Masonic lodge, Newport. He helped many family members build their homes. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Odell Quinn Ubil; two sons, William of Fairfax and Quinn of Elkton, a daughter, Barbara Dohring of Townsend; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Niehols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis Newport, where friends may call after 10. Burial will be in St. Georges Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Diabetes Foundation. OTSO W. WALTER, 68, of Bay-shore Road, Chestertown, died Saturday of heart failure in Veterans Hospital, Baltimore. Mr. Walter, a machine and tool design specialist, worked at Glenn L.

Martin Co. in Baltimore and later for Wilson, Nuttall and Rai-mond in Chestertown. After that, he became a farmer and built equipment in a shop on the farm. He retired several years ago. He was a graduate of the Detroit College of Applied Sciences and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Verna H. Walter; and two sons, Eric of Kennedyville and David of Chestertown. A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fellows-Wells Funeral Home, 413 High Chestertown, where friends may call at 10. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery, Chestertown.

ELIZABETH W. YOUNG, 85, of Sunset Road, Newark, and Bethany Beach, died Monday of cancer in Christiana Hospital. Mrs. Young was born in Nottingham, find lived in Delaware since 1940. She was a teacher and later became district administrative assistant for the Newark School District under superintendents W'ilnier Shue and George Kirk.

She retired in 1972 after more than 20 years. Her husband, Milton G. Young, was chairman of the University of Delaware electrical engineering department until 1974. Mrs. Young was the first president of UD Faculty Wives.

She was a Blue Hen football fan and enjoyed tailgating. Mrs. Young was a poll watcher for the Republican Party. She enjoyed knitting, growing roses, bird-watching and playing bridge. In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is survived by two sons, Robert G.

of Boise, idaho, and A. Wil son of Dallas; her daughter, Margaret A. Young of Bethany Beach; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First.

CAMELLIA "CAMMY" CUDD POTTS, 65, of Elkton, died Sunday of cancer at home. Mrs. Potts was a bookkeeper at Community Plaza Hardware Store, New Castle, retiring in 1992 after 18 years. Earlier, she worked at Plasticoid Elkton. She attended Leeds United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed flower gardening and crafts. Survivors include her husband. Dr. Charles C. Potts; a son, Cecil D.

Cudd of Delaware City, her mother, Alice B. Hicks of Bear, two sisters, Mayrene Tenny of Silver Spring and Ann Cool of Bear; two brothers, Alfred and Ray Hicks, both of Hot Springs, and a grandson. EDWARD M. SHERIDAN, 62, of Bear, died Saturday of cancer at home. Mr. Sheridan was formerly of Dickson, and Carneys Point, N.J. He moved to Bear in August from Dickson.

He was area manager at the DuPont Co. at New Johnsonville, until he retired in 1992 after 40 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 8241, Dickson. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Garbini Sheridan; two sons, Michael E.

of Henderson-ville, and Patrick J. of Carneys Point; a daughter, Maria S. McAllister of Chattanooga, a brother, John D. of Mendenhall, a sister, Ann E. Venello of Penns Grove, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Rodney Wilmington, died Sunday of complications' from cancer at home. Mrs. Murphy, a homemaker, was a member of the Women's Club of Girls Inc. of Delaware, and St. Thomas and St.

Anthony senior centers. Her husband, Edward G. Murphy, died in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Blanco of Wilmington and Jean Trzcinski of Landenberg, a sister, Frances Miller of Ohio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A service will be at 10 a.m.
