Mrs. Fox, a native of Wilmington, was employed by Spence Protective Agency Inc. for the past seven years, working in St.

Francis Constance B. Merrill Constance B. Merrill, 68, of 2911 Cross Fork Drive, Arundel Apartments, died of heart failure Thursday in Christiana Hospital Mrs. Merrill was a life member of the Episcopal Church. She was a volunteer at Emily P.

Bissell Hospital and Episcopal Church Home. She enjoyed needlework and was active in several church choirs. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. William B. Merrill, interim pastor of St Andrew's Episcopal Church; a son, Robert A.

of Wilmington; a daughter, Kathleen M. Tressey of Wilmington; a brother, Robert M. Bodycombe of Wilkinsburg, three sisters, Olwen Bodycombe of Wilkinsburg, Megan Edwards of New Milford, and Ena Spina of River Edge, N.J.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St.

Andrew's Episcopal Church, Eighth and Shipley streets. There will be no viewing. Burial will be private. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Andrew's-St.

Matthew's Ministry to the Homeless, in care of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, John R. Osborne DOVER John R. Osborne, 56, of Dover, died of heart failure Thursday in Kent General Hospital. Mr.

Osborne was assistant manager at Big A Auto Parts, Moores Lake. He was a 20-year Air Force veteran, retiring in 1971 as a master sergeant He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He is survived by a son, Robert of Dover; two daughters, Kimberly Osborne and Kathy Marie Rid-geway, both of Dover, three stepsons, Joseph Shahan of Hartly, Robert Shahan of Camden and Gary Shahan of Milford; six stepdaughters, Cathy Moore of Camden, Robin Hyde of Dover, Carol Poore of Harrington, Susan Clark of Milford, Renee Carney of Clayton and Rebecca Lofland of Sud-lersville, a brother, James of Petersburg, two sisters, Nellie Barnes of Jeffersontown, and Mary Lou Lamkin of Raywick, two grandchildren and 18 step-grandchildren. Services will be Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel, Reed and Bradford streets, Dover, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.

Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Arlington (Va.) National Cemetery. MindyL.McIntyre LEWES Mindy L. Mclntyre, 56, of B-7 Nassau Park, died Thursday of heart failure in Beebe Hospital. Mrs.

Mclntyre is survived by her husband, Frank; three sons, Richard of Virginia, Roger of England and William of Texas; her mother, Alice Nash of Leavenworth, a brother, William Nash of Kansas; a sister, Jean Byrns of California; and seven grandchildren. Coverdale SEAFORD Edgar D. Cover-dale, 72, of Seaford Health Care Center, formerly of rural Ellendale, died Friday of heart failure in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Coverdale, a farmer in the Ellendale area, retired about 15 years ago. He is survived by three sisters, Bessie Jones of Seaford, Clara Roach of Georgetown and Blanche Walls of Lincoln.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Northwest Front Street, Milford, where friends may call after 1. Burial will be in Slaughter Neck Cemetery, near Milford. A7 Theresa M. Phillips NORTH EAST, Md.

Theresa M. Phillips, 93, of 1136 Mechanics Valley Road, died of complications from a stroke Wednesday in Calvert Manor Nursing Home, Calvert. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Union, and Little Elk Council 40, Degree of Pocahontas, Cherry Hill.

Her husband, Lewis, died I in 1978. She is survived by three sons, Robert E. of Charlestown, William C. of Elkton and Roger E. of North East; a daughter, Virginia P.

Cloud of Nanticoke; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be today at 2 p.m. in Union United Methodist Church, Union, where friends may call after 12:30. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Union United Methodist Church.

Iva M. Bennett DOVER Iva M. Bennett, 81, formerly of 2004 S. State died Friday of cancer in Westminster Village Health Center, her residence for several months. Mrs.

Bennett's husband, Scott, died in 1983. She is survived by a son, Samuel of Weirton, W.Va.; a daughter, Martha Gooden, with whom she lived before moving to the nursing home; a sister, Susan Wildman of Centerville, W.Va.; five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Powers Sr. 1 Russell B. Powers 90, of 701 Valley Road, Newark, died Thursday of cancer in Leader Nursing Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Powers was a plumber at Od Kent Bank Co.

in Grand Rapids, retiring in 1962. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a Navy veteran pf World War II. He was a member of the American Legion in Grand Rapids. His first wife, Ruth died dn 1963. His second, Marian, died 1981.

He is survived by a son, Russell B. with whom he lived; two grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Metcalf Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Police immediately searched, and then more than 780 students were eva-.

Lewis DOVER Arzie P. Lewis, 88, of Westminster Village Health Center, died Wednesday of heart failure in Kent General Hospital. Mrs. Lewis, a longtime resident of Newark, was a member and secretary of First Presbyterian Church of Newark for many years. She was a charter and life member of Order of the Eastern Star 10, where she was a past matron, treasurer, treasurer emeritus and deputy grand lecturer.

She was a past Firesident and secretary of the adies auxiliary of J. Allison D'Daniel American Legion Post 10. Her husband, Conrad K.D. died in 1966. She is survived by four sons, Conrad K.D.

Jr. of Dover, John Edmond of Morgan-ton, and James P. and Albert Lester, both of Newark; two daughters, Miriam L. Ayars of Bedford, Texas, and Nancy L. Buckingham of Greencastle, 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Robert Harrington Robert Harrington, 64, of 332 Tamara Circle, Harmony Hills, Newark, died Wednesday of a heart attack in Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital. He was in Pennsylvania visiting a daughter, Deborah Lee Cohen of Greencastle. Mr. Harrington, a pipe fitter at Delmarva Power Light Co. for 15 years, retired in 1986.

He was a veteran of World War II. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lee; a son, Robert Howard of Newark; two other daughters, Dorothy Evelyn Harrington of Glen Mills, and Patricia Merle D'Amico of Newark; a brother, Warren of Newark; a sister, Mary Ward of Delaware City; and five grandchildren. Her first husband, Francis A. Quigley, died in 1966. Her second husband, Francis A. Fox, died in May 1981. She is survived by two sons, Francis A.

Quigley III of Bucks County, and Patrick Quigley of London; a stepson, Leonard Quigley of Cecil County, a daughter, Geraldine M. Ste-phey of Elsmere; a stepdaughter, Reba Ashcraft of Elkton, a brother, Hugh Ward of Brookland Terrace; four sisters, Frances Moroney, Mary Palmer and Leona Hedden, all of Wilmington, and Catherine Uniatowski of Lewes; and 20 grandchildren. Casimir Chetkowski Casimir Chetkowski, 72, of 126 Bette Road, Lynnfield, died Friday of complications from emphysema in St.

Francis Hospital. Mr. Chetkowski, a materials handler at General Motor Boxwood Road plant for 30 years, retired in 1977. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, where he was a commentator and a member of the Parish Council and the Holy Name Society.

He was a past president of the Captain Mlotkowski Memorial Brigade Society, and a member of the Polish Beneficial Association Group 11 and the Polish Union of the USA. He was born in Wilmington, lived in Poland for 18 years and then moved back to the Wilmington area. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna "Ida" Wegelewski; two sons, C. Gerald of Landenberg, and Michael J. of Wilmington; two daughters, Barbara Mitchell of Wilmington and Lorraine Schmed-ding of Harrisburg, three brothers, Raymond, Thaddeus and Zygmund, all of Poland; two sisters, Lucy Kraszewski and Wanda Chetkowski, both of Poland; and seven grandchildren.
