Loan Corporation Ordered to Show Books Chief Justice Daniel J. Layton in Superior Court yesterday ordered the Maryland Commercial Bankers, a small-loan corporation of 316 West Saratoga Street, Baltimore, Incorporated in Delaware, to produce on or before May 26 certain books and records. The order, signed by the chief justice and Judge Charles L. Terry, was requested by Ivan Culbert-son, attorney for George C. Hiltz and Johanna M.

Hiltz, who, together, hold 191 shares of the preferred and 1,384 shares of the common stock of the corporation. The plaintiffs, who asked for a writ of mandamus, charge that they have been denied information about the business, and are unable to tell whether it is being run on a profit or loss basis. They allege, also, that the corporation is substantially Indebted to the Morris Plan Bank of Virginia to the extent that a large proportion of its assets are pledged.
