Evening Journal Wilmington, a Del. June 26. 1971 Mrs. Scott F. Cressman Cressman Miss Georgia Emily Moreton and Scott Frank Cressman were married in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Church, Levittown, June 26 at noon.

The Rev. Myron Badnerosky officiated at the ceremony and a reception was held at the Italian-American Social Club in Morrisville, Pa. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Moreton of Morrisville, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Frank Cressman of Barrington, N.J, Matron of honor was Mrs. Gilbert Rogers and bridesmaids were Miss Kathy Schaeffer, Mrs. Robert Startzel and Miss Pamela Moreton, junior bridesmaid. Best man was Gilbert Rogers.

Ushers were Joseph Rompala, Wayne Davidson and John Moreton. Mrs. Cressman was graduated from Pennsbury High School and East Stroudsburg State College. She is employed by the Newark School District. Her husband is a graduate of Haddon Heights High School and East Stroudsburg State College.

He is serving with the National Guard and is employed by the Deptford Township School District. After a wedding trip to New England the couple will reside in Newark. Mrs. Robert Patterson Evans Edwards, Evans The wedding of Miss Carole Louise Edwards and Robert Patterson Evans took place in St. Thomas Episcopal Church June 25 at 7 p.m.

The Rev. Marvin Hummel officiated at the ceremony which was followed by a reception at the Du Pont Country Club. PARENTS of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Lewis W.

Edwards of 132 Aronimink Drive, Newark, and Mrs. John Evans of Havertown, and the late Mr. Evans. Matron of honor was Mrs. James T.

Altizer, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Miss Eileen Von Stetten. Bridesmaids were Miss Joan Purcell and Mrs. Anthony DiMidio. BEST man was Edward D'Alessandro.

Ushers were Oliver Butler, James Altizer and William Barker. The bride, a graduate of the University of Delaware, is employed by the Alfred I. du Pont School System. The groom, a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, is employed by Delmarva Power and Light Co. The couple will reside in Newark.

Catherine I. Figest Weds Richard Stuffer The wedding of Miss ine Irene Figest and Richard Thomas Stouffer took place June 26 at noon in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover. 'The Rev. Charles J. McGinley, assisted by the Rev.

H. Alvin Kuhn, officiated at the ceremony which was followed by a reception at The Dinner Bell Inn, Dover. MISS Figest is the niece of Miss Julia Lansu. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Earle N. Stouffer of Wilmington. Matron of honor was Mrs. Joseph F. Misero sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Miss Martha Baynard, Miss Nancy J. Schmidt and Mrs. C. Andrew Hastings. Best man was E.

Marvin Stouffer, brother of the groom. Ushers were Edgar S. Burr, Joseph F. Misero Jr. and C.

Andrew Hastings. RING bearer was Joseph Misero III. The bride was graduated from the University of Delaware. The groom was graduated from the Mrs. Charles T.

Derby Kleiss, Derby Miss Kathleen Ann Kleiss and Charles Thomas Derby were married June 26 at 1 p.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church. 'The Rev. Robert Buckwalter officiated at the ceremony which was followed by a reception at The Monterey.

PARENTS of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Kleiss of Wilmington, and Mr. and Mrs.

Daniel E. Derby of Claymont. Maid of honor was Miss Carol Lynn Morris. Bridesmaids were Miss Shirley Roberts, Mrs. Frederick Fink and sisters of the bridegroom, Mrs.

William Dempsey, Miss Mary Elizabeth Derby and Miss Jane Derby. Best man was John F. Smith III. Ushers were Daniel E. Derby brother of the groom; Frederick Fink, William Dempsey, Roger Goudot and Robert Kleiss, brother of the bride.

FLOWER girl was Angela Dempsey. The bride was graduated from Concord High School. The groom was graduated from Claymont High School and is employed by the Delaware National Guard. Baker, McClafferty Miss Janice Carol Baker and Richard James McClafferty were married in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church June 26 at noon. The Rev. Mario Bugliosi officiated at the ceremony and a reception was held at Fournier Hall.

Parents of the bride are Mrs. Garrison J. Rupert and George F. Baker Jr. of Wilmington.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James J. McClafferty Jr. of 705 N.

Scott Matron of Honor for her sister was Mrs. Grant R. Hone. Bridesmaids were Mrs. David Robertson, Mrs.

Joseph Mikeseil, sister of the groom; Miss Nancy Donohoe, Mrs. Anthony Iorii and Miss Diane McClafferty, sister of the groom, Best man was Thomas Flowers and ushers were John Manfredi, Dominic Conte, Anthony Iorii, Joseph Mikesell and Joseph CoFrancesco. Flower girl was Kathy Mikesell and ring bearer was James Hostler. Mrs. McClafferty is a graduate of Concord High School and is employed by Longwood Villa Nursing Home.

Her husband is a graduate of Salesianum School, served with the National Guard and is employed by Supermar- ket General Corp. After a wedding trip to Miami, the couple will reside in Wilmington. Mrs. Richard J. McClafferty Marriage Announced The marriage of Miss Carol Anne Schroeder and Andrew David Zimmerman took place April 13.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schroeder of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. George Zimmerman of Oak Lane Manor.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman are graduates of Brandywine High School and are attending the University of Delaware. Mr. Zimmerman has attended the University of Miami, Fla.

The couple is residing in Newark. Polly's Pointers Difficulty with the tension on sewing machines is sometimes caused by the new light weight spools of thread. A metal nut, about one-fourth-inch thick, set on top of the spool may correct Mrs. Calvin E. Ritchie the tension problem.

Robert E. Carney, sister of the bride; Mrs. Joseph F. Charnik Miss Maureen Riley and Miss Rox- anne Ritchie, sister of the groom. Best man was the groom's father.

Trost. The bride was graduated from Henry C. Conrad High School and is employed by the Bank of Delaware. Her husband, a graduate of Henry C. Conrad High School, is attending the University of Delaware and is employed by Marvin S.
