Mrs. Camac was born in Delaware City and was a lifelong resident of New Castle County. She was an active and tireless member of Kirkwood United Methodist Church which later evolved into nerstone United Methodist Church. Known a always for her willingness to serve others, she took on many leadership roles within the church, including serving as the president of the Women's Society of Christian Service, president of the Sunshine Club, Sunday School superintendent, and Bible School director. She also taught Sunday School, conducted Bible studies in her home, served on the pastoral care team and corresponded with church members attendcollege or serving in the military.

Her international ministries hosting visiting missionaries and making clothing for the Linens for Lepers program. Mrs. Camac had also served as president of the Bear Ladies Home Society and remained an active member until her death. She was currently a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Charles M.

Camac, her daughter, Judith Camac Gregory, her sister, Alice Morrison, and her brother, Warren Downs. She is survived by her son, Charles W. Camac and his wife, Lisa, of Williston, FL; her daughter, Eileen Keen and her husband, Eugene, of St. Georges, DE; her daughter, Joyce Camac Elberson and her husband, Norman, of Bear, DE; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Your kindnesses will always be remembered. families. Eric Barthel, Jr. Eric Barthel, Jr, 85, died on Friday, July 27, 2007 while at the Methodist Country House. He was born in Lincoln, IL, the first of 4 children of Eric and Lillie Barthel.

He grew up in Illinois and graduated "with distinction" from Bradley Polytechnic Institute in Peoria, IL in 1943 with a B.S. in Science and Math. Mr. Barthel enlisted in the U.S. Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1946.

He served a Naval Instructor, Deck Division Officer, Recognition Officer on a Summary Court Martial His rank at discharge was Lieutenant Junior Grade (D.L), He married Florence A. Wukasch in graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 1949. They moved to Collins Park, Castle, DE in 1949 and worked as a research chemist at the DuPont Chambers Works and later as a liaison between the DuPont patent office and the DuPont organic research laboratories. He was an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Wilmington.

An avid birder, he also enjoyed gardening and carpentry. In 1984, after 35 years of working for DuPont, Mr. Barthel retired in order to care for his wife, who was afflicted with Alzheimer's, Disease. Florpassed away 1991. Mr.

Barthel moved into the Methodist Country House in 1999. He is survived by a son, Eric III of Salinas, CA; 2 daughters, Paula Marie Fullar of Freeport, NY and Anita Barthel Hu of NY, NY; a brother, John Barthel of Uxbridge, MA; 2 sisters, Mary Miller of Bradenton, FL and Barbara Schrader of Sycamore, IL and 2 grandchildren. Born in Bermuda, he became an American citizen on May 5, 2005. Jim was once selfemployed and worked several places as a or small engine mechanic. For 10 years, he was a courier for Newark Toyota World. When able, Jim enjoyed golf, bowling, boating and camping with his many friends.

But, his life revolved around his family, friends and his dog, "Bermuda Jim" was proud to be survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlotte DePrisco Corday; his son Robert Corday (Cindy); stepchildren, Sharon Condo (Richard), James Bonner (Kathy), Sandra Bonner, Sally Ann Lewis (Leland), and Charles Bonner (Lynn); his grandchildren, Alison, Brett and Cameron Corday, Nicole Andruzzi, Lauren Mumpower, Sara Bonner, Ashley Sabotta, Paige and Georgia Lewis, and Tommy and Heather Bonner. Geralis, age 81, passed away on July 25, 2007, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Geralis was born in New York City. He was a graduate of Central High School in served as a Radio Man of the US Navy during the invasion in Normandy at Omaha Beach. He worked for 50 years in the Liquor Industry as a Vice President and General Sales Manager of various distributors. Upon retiring from that industry, he drew upon his wealth of business expertise and became a Business Consultant for Leisure Fitness.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, he was also an Ahepan, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the VFW Post 9619 in Morningside, MD. Mr. Geralis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Kraus away day Joe my War. after He son Age 73, formerly of Bethany Beach, DE, and a life-long resident of Delaware, passed away peacefully at home, on July 27, 2007 after a long battle with lung cancer, with his beloved Barbara and Barbi by his side. Dick was born in Wilmington to the late James and Rebecca Kraus of McDaniel Heights, and graduated from P.S. DuPont High School and the Philadelphia College Art, where he majored in industrial design. Dick was pioneer in designing interiors for executive aircraft at Atlantic Aviation Corporation, and became head of the design division.

He held several aviation design patents. He later was Graphic Operations Director at Mitchell Associates, Wilmington. Dick was friend of Bill W. for close to 30 years. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death in 1995 by his daughter, Kathryn R.

Kraus, and in 1973 by his sister, Doris Kraus McKee. He is survived by his wife 53 years, Barbara Pancoast Kraus; 1 daughter, Barbara Kraus-Blackney and her husband, Kevin; 3 granddaughters. Marita, Kathleen. and Emma Blackney; his brother, Dr. John W.
